Two Wheeler

Two Wheeler

Two wheelers are the ideal mode of transportation in Goa. Motorbikes and scooters are abundant and easily available in all tourist hotspots. You can rent a bike or scooter for more than reasonable rates (between 100 to 500 IRP for one day, less for longer rental periods). Bicycles are a liitle bit more difficult to rent. But when you are on a long-time-stay, you just buy one: prices start at 1500 IRP for brand new wheels. Just ask around.

Touring Goa by a engine powered two-wheeler is sheer fun. Imagine: the wind is blowing trough your hair. For your small print vehicle, traffic jams don't exist. You can go everywhere you want for a few rupees, euro's dollars or whatever other obscure currency.

Touring Goa by bicycle can be a very nice experience if you manage to avoid the main roads. A bicycle comes also in handy for daily up and down beach travels if your accommodation is in land.
